Get Warped! Full Day Rigid Heddle Weaving Workshop (Recycled Silk Placemat)

Get going on a fun weaving project!

Participants will complete a woven placemat using cotton warp yarn and recycled silk sari fabrics.  The finished piece will be approximately 12” x 18”.  

Participants will learn how to measure the warp yarns and thread them onto a rigid heddle loom using the direct warp method.

All supplies are provided - yarn and use of loom and tools. 

This is a full day weaving workshop with a lunch break mid-day and as needed.

Class starts at 9:30am.  Class ends at 5:00pm. 

Must register 2 participants minimum for class.

“Get Warped” classes are led by Cayenna Hanna. 
 

CLASS REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION

1. Please register for class sessions in-store, online or by phone.  Payment is due at the time of registration to secure your seat for the class session. 
2. A 5-day notice is required for cancellation without penalty. Cancellations made within 5 days of a class are subject to a 50% class charge.  Cancellations made the day of class and no-shows are not refundable.
